An Original New Orleans Square Concept Drawing by Bill Martin.

(Disneyland, 1960s) A drawing of ironwork and architectural details for New Orleans Square by Disney Legend Bill Martin, likely created during one of his many New Orleans research trips with Walt Disney and Herb Ryman. Starting in 1953, Martin brought his extensive set design experience from 20th Century-Fox to designing the new land. The drawing is accomplished in ink on a sheet of scratch paper. Measuring 6.75" x 10.75", the drawing is in very good condition with smudging and discoloration from age.
