Up for auction: a classic, robust and fascinating Soviet collectible rangefinder camera—the Zorki S (Зоркий С), produced in the Soviet Union by the historic Krasnogorsk mechanical works (KMZ) between 1955 and 1958. The lot presents itself in good overall vintage condition, with normal signs of use consistent with its history, and is perfectly mechanically functional. Optics: The camera is fitted with the historic 50mm f/3.5 lens. The lenses appear structurally intact and free of deep scratches; only a normal, widespread and light vintage patina due to the decades past is evident, entirely physiological for a piece of this age. Mechanical: The lot has been tested and appears to operate mechanically in manual mode. Aesthetics: Good overall vintage condition, as clearly documented by the photographs. The solid metal frame preserves its finish very well, displaying a historic patina and the classic signs of surface wear from handling along the edges. Tracked international shipping, fully insured and professionally super-protective packaging to guarantee maximum safety during transport.
